Kin Da Thai and Sushi Restaurant

I love that they have Thai food and sushi bar . I love their vegetable spring roll,spicy eggplant, crispy fish green curry, spicy tuna and spicy crunchy sushi. And of course Thai Tea .They are small and very intimate restaurant. Street park or a parking lot its available . Walkable and safe neighborhood.

Kin Da is one of our go-to restaurants. It's reliably delicious and the staff are extremely nice. You can make a meal of just appetizers: the duck roll is spectacular, the shrimp rolls fabulous, and I love the dumplings. But the main courses are wonderful, too, with the cashew chicken a just-spicy-enough favorite. Watch for creative specials with seasonal ingredients, too. Highly recommended!

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the customer service is always good and they keep the place well organized regularly. Rates are reasonable and they serve big portions.

I went here with a friend a couple of weeks ago on a weekday evening. The service was subpar but the sushi and dumplings were both fresh and tasty. I would give it another try if I were in the mood for sushi again.

I honestly enjoyed their dishes and customer service, excellent location close to my apartment. The employees are always nice. Will come back again.

I go to this excellent place every couple of days since I enjoy the special atmosphere that is outline this place. The staff is highly helpful and professional. The service is very rapid. Also, the food they serve is great. I came often and I was always joyful. The payment is decent. I highly recommend this place to to all.

Consistency is the key. The food is always well worth the moderate price point. The service won't wow you. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Just ok. If they can get the service to be as attentive as some of the more pricy competitors, this place can be really special.

last night was our first time in this fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the great food and fine drinks and with the modest pay. We will absolutely go back there soon.

Food was excellent but the service could have been better. Our waitress took a while to deliver water to our table and then after we ordered, she delivered our appetizer of Duck Rolls to another table before bringing it to ours and then the Basil Fried Rice (featured below) that I ordered was delivered to another table, set in front of another patron then was picked back up and delivered to me when the waitress realized the mistake. The Duck Rolls were delicious, meaty, sweet with a crunchy interior and my Basil Fried Rice had the perfect mix of chicken, basil leaves, veggies and best of all, spice. I’ll be back!

Great food! We all shared the food and I got to try the Tom Kha soup, Shrimp Rolls, Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, Spicy Eggplant, and the Mango and Sticky Rice. I loved everything I got to try today, but if I had to pick my favorites, I would pick the Pad Thai, Papaya Salad, and the Tom Kha soup. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

Immediately upon walking in, the servers were warm and welcoming. I came during their lunch special hours and got the Panang Curry. If you like a little spice and a lot of flavor, I HIGHLY recommend it. I LOVE Thai food and I must say, this is some of the best I have had in a while. The prices are affordable. The ambiance is cozy and soft jazz plays throughtout. It is truly a Takoma Park delicacy and a welcomed surprise I bumped into simply walking down the street. If you're looking for a nice date for 1 (as I did today) or a nice place to just enjoy away for a few moments, come to Kin Da. 😄🙌

I get to eat here a lot since I work close by. I must say their service is always excellent and they keep the place neat constantly. Rates are reasonable and they serve large portions.

One of my favorite spots. Some of the best dishes you can get and service is outstanding!! No wonder I keep going back.

I take my family to this lovely spot a lot! This is my favorite spot to dine. I go there routinely. The meals are excellent, the staff is polite and the price is decent. I like meeting in this place for a tasty lunch.

Fantastic sushi! Properly made and served. The staff is great and the food comes out fast. Cannot wait to go back and try more of their dishes, specially on the Thai side.

Kin Da is my favorite restaurant in the DC/MD/VA area. Everything I’ve tried off the menu I’ve loved. I highly recommend ginger stir fry, crispy fish with spicy basil sauce, pad woon sen, and spicy eggplant. Portions are big and prices are reasonable.

Shout out to Kin Da who donated meals to us health workers! Boxes packed nicely & food is AMAZING!!

I have been going to kin da pretty much since it opened and it is our go to order out food. The lemonade is AMAZING!!!! Some of the staff are not fully versed in english but it works. The food is great. I would recommend it. The problem is when you shipping is its over 45 minutes.

Good food, good prices, good service. There was a strange smell when we walked in, but we got used to it.

I love the food!!! The prices are alright you can easily spend 50 dollars for two appetisers two main entrees and two drinks, give and take. The delivery can take no less than 45 minutes even though I’m 3 minutes away drive. The food is always tasty; although I feel that as of recent months I get less food or smaller portions when ordering for delivery. Today (April 21,2020) I ordered a soup with tofu and I literally got three pieces of tofu. But overall is a great place I love their curry puffs, one of my favourite curry puffs from all the Thai places I order from. I really just love all their food. Wish they would give a bit more on their portions.

The staff is sweet and the food is affordable and delicious! I've gone here many times with my husband as well as out of state family and friends, and it's been a good experience every time. I have also ordered carry-out several times and the food was equally good.

We arrived at this restaurant for a meeting. my friend recommended this place. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff and we felt excellent. The meal was yummy. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

Great sushi! Prices are reasonable for Takoma Park. The wine selection is decent, including a few fancier options plus four or five varietals from their affordable house offerings, where most restaurants just offer a house red and house white. Easily accommodates vegetarian and gluten free diets. Table service is surprisingly quick even on a busy Saturday night with every table full.

This restaurant offers first-rate service as well as tasty meals. My favourite place in the city. The meals arrived quick and the prices were inexpensive. I recommend this place.

Eat in or take away and you’ll be smiling for 100 days thinking about your wonderful experience. The basil fried rice (ask for less spicy and it’s still hot! I like hot) makes you believe in miracles. Worth the trek from down the block or 100 miles away. Not to be missed!

Cramped quarters. The brussel sprouts salad was excellent and quite filling. I had to eat half the salad and take the rest home so I could eat my main course

It was just okay. Ordered the drunken noodles and the panang curry. Both were pretty average in terms of taste. The wait time was a little ridiculous especially since I called the order in beforehand.

Great Thai Good; staff efficient but not friendly.

The food was really good. The environment was quaint but very welcoming. The customer serivice was very attentive. I tried a safe dish of the basil fried rice and it was pretty yummy. The food was a bit sweeter than I expected, but still very yummy and worth the experience. The price is a bit higher than expected for rice. However, the quality of service and area could be factors into this. Definitely would try this place again.

I ordered Red Curry, and advised the chef that I like it spicy...it was prepared and blended to perfection. My out of town guest ordered guest Pad Thai...and raved about the food(without the travel "downtown" ).
